Two things.
First, that is a GREAT song and I recommend you check it out. It's called "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave. After I post this, I'm going to walk around with intentions to not go anywhere specifically while listening to this song just to clear my head. It's great. You should try it sometime.
Second thing, Balmain's Fall 2009 ready-to-wear collection was...(to quote Rachel Zoe, because she deserves it) absolutely BANANAS!! (and yes, I'm aware that my coverage of fashion week is a little late, but my internet has been down for a gazillion years!)

The colour palette isn't the most vibrant thing in the world, but omg. OMG. Look at those blazers! Look at how structured they are. And studs. OMFGSTUDS!

Another one that caught my attention was Alexander McQueen, obviously. The lips were kind of freaky, but everything else was fantastic! He's a freaking genius!

I was speechless after I saw this. I just sat there like "What the hell was that?"...but in a good way! Just when I thought I'd seen everything there was to see in the world, I saw these...


I know, right? Freaking AWESOME. I feel like if I poked the last dress with a pin, it would deflate. I'd love to see that. I wonder sometimes how he keeps his sanity while he creates these things. Then I think maybe he's secretly insane. Then I go to bed. (:
